Sheppy’s Publications is an enterprise that specializes in writing, editorial, and publishing services. We publish all kinds of materials, including books/e-books, magazines, newsletters, and articles. Our editorial services include proofreading, editing, formatting, fact-checking, and plagiarism-checking. Our writing services include ghost-writing, creative writing, and transcription.
OUR STORY
The founder, Michael Amissah, recounts a daunting experience during the publishing of his first book, “Voice of the Final Shaking” in 2020. He had to travel several kilometers (because he lived outside of the capital city, Accra) to see editors, designers, and print houses for a good deal. Each company specialized in only one aspect of book publishing: for example, only proofreading, or only editing, or only cover design, or only printing, etc. After several to and fro, with huge amounts of money wasted, Michael purposed in his heart not to see any author, especially the young ones like himself, go through that hassle.
He vowed to open a publishing firm that would consolidate all writing, editorial, and publishing services for authors to have a one-time but delightful writing and self-publishing experience with comely, exciting, and competitive packages. Hence, at Sheppy’s Publications, we provide writing, editing, and publishing support. The company was founded in December 2021 and has been registered under the Registration of Business Names Act, 1962 (No. 151) signed by the Registrar for Business Names of the Republic of Ghana.

Michael Kwaku Amissah is the visionary and leader of Sheppy’s Publications. He is a writer, author (of books), researcher, marketer, publisher, management consultant, and communicator who contributes clear and compelling perspectives through writing and public speaking. He has an MBA degree (Master of Business Administration) in Marketing from the University of Ghana Business School. At Sheppy’s Publications, Michael is in charge of manuscript review and the overseer of the entire publishing process.
Emmanuel Bempah
Writer/Editor
Emmanuel Bempah is a writer and academic researcher who holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) in Economics and Linguistics from the University of Ghana. At Sheppy’s Publications, he is a writer, editor and research consultant.
Daniel Kwame Amissah
IT Director
Daniel Kwame Amissah holds a Master of Science degree (MSc) in Computer Science from the University of Ghana. At Sheppy’s Publications, he oversees web development, content creation, and production.
Goldust Stella Biney
Writer/Editor
Goldust is a writer who holds a Bachelor of Science degree (BSc) from the University of Ghana. With her experience in writing and public speaking, she takes on the writing and editorial services at Sheppy’s Publications. She also blogs for the company.
